I'm looking for the TCM in my '95 Trooper..Any ideas on where to look? Is it the one under the console,or by the left kick panel? I feel pretty dumb, but my manual isn't really too clear about its location

Kick Panel should be it. my Other 89 Trooper has one located under the kick panel, ECM is under the console and I assume its the kick panel that houses the TCM.
