Getting the Wheeling Fever
94 4-Runner started running rough. 3.0L. I'm thinking spark plugs. Are they easy to replace? What's a good replacement plug? Thanks Bob

They are easy enough to replace. I use the original equipment brand like NGK. I have tried other brands with poor results. you might also check the cap, rotor, and plug wires while your at it.

Spark plugs are a good place to start. Like Kutter said, replace the rotor and cap while your at it.

Plug wires are expensive. I'd say, if they appear to be in good condition, no need to replace them.

Changing them is a little tight, but not too bad.

I think Denso is the proper plug to put in your 3.0. Dont go with any cheap brand stuff, I've seen far too many fail.

Changed the plugs & found the front two on the drivers side were oil fouled, the others were tan with alot of build up on them. I took out Autolite platinums so thats what I put back in. Seems to run alot better. Thanks Bob
