I see them on the shelf in Autozone and they are doing a 10.oo rebate on a pair which makes them 37.00
I have the silverstars in right now.

Kenny,

I've tried two types of Silverstars. The fixed kind (square) I currently have on my '85 4Runner and they're head and tails above the stock halogen replacements. There really aren't too many inexpensive options when you have the fixed ones and I've had no problems with longevity (had them for 2 years, about 10,000 miles on the truck and still fine).

But, as for the H-type bulbs, I had a pair of low beams on my Subaru that burnt out after barely 3 months. Although my high beams are still going strong. I suspect it was because the low's are the daytime running lights, but still, 3 months was pretty weak.

Justin

first off for the money silverstars suck I got a pair in my Acura SLX and need to switch them out for the new bulbs I got
Why spen $37 or more for them when you can got to Ebay and get 3 pair of NOKYA stage2 100w/120w then up grade the ground and they last just as long in not longer for about $40 after shipping or look for gp thunder headlights had a pair in my 97 neon and still have the same pair in my S10 with DRL for 2 years now still bright as the day I got them

PS must upgrade ground wire or it will burn up the wire if you get anything above stock watts
