i have a 97 wrangler with the 2.5L. i want to put in an ARB safari snorkel, but it only shows for the 4.0L. is there any way to make it work for the 2.5? thanks.

I think I would be askint this to ARB! But if it will fit a 6 surely there would be a way to MAKE an adjustment ti fit a 4 banger. I betcha ARB has already done it.

ok, this has always been my question. what else besides a snorkel would you have to do to help your jeep be water-proof. I mean, snorkel is the main thing that helps not getting water in ur intake but there is more to it right??

Body Damage is Cool
Well, you want to make sure your spark plug wires are fairly new and in good shape, and use dialectric grease on the spark plug fittings and the distributor fittings. You might consider putting liquid electrical tape or Krylon on some of the exposed electrical connections.

Nothing you do to that vehicle, spending only a reasonable amount of money, is going to make it into an amphibious vehicle. But if you take these precautions, you can dunk it in a stream for SHORT periods of time. Keep in mind that a lot of parts, like your alternator, can take in water and short out or at the very least corrode over time.
