Getting the Wheeling Fever
My buddy has a 1992 p/u (no A/C) with a fluctuating idle every time he steps on the brakes. it's not the booster and I tried adjusting the power steering idle-up VSV with no luck. The engine idle adjustment only kinda helps, but not much.

Major annoyance. Any help would be awesome!

Justin Morgan-Speed never killed anyone, it's the sudden stop at the end that'll get ya

2 usual (and cheap/easy) is:

Idle speed adjustment (timing ok?)

Low coolant level. Check and "burp" as needed.

4Crawler... although I have a '93 second generation, much of that site from the link you provided is absolutely chock full of juicy, succulent morsels of information. Cough... WoW! I was wholly impressed.

People like you are an argument for cloning. Thanks for your selfless contribution. You can bet all you have that I'll be visiting that site often.
