Anyone who has worked on a 22R carburetor knows about the spacer that goes between the carb and the intake manifold.
From the factory the gaskets are attached to this spacer, so you wind up either having to stack the gaskets from the rebuild kit, or trying to file down the spacer and hoping it doesn't leak. Which it usually does.
I sort of automatically assumed the spacer would be about a million dollars from the dealer, but it turns out it's around 20 bucks.

The Napa gaskets don't have the holes for the PCV passages in the spacer anyway; the factory setup works far better.
I'd highly recommend it for anyone pulling their carb off to work on it.

Thank you; I've got some carb-specific stuff in the p/n thread; will put it there. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

When I rebuilt mine the kit came with new gaskets for the spacer...not a new spacer but I just reused the original. Can't say if it's leaking, I rebuilt the thing about a year ago and it runs fine
