I've personally found these people easy to deal with and a quality product:

Jasper is very good, 3 year, 75K mile warranty. Longblock and install kit and you're rolling.

Orient looks good on a brief web search as well, and cheaper.

I don't know what you have locally but up here the better shops will rebuild your engine for much cheeper then dealing with those guys and also warrentee their work. You could affort some performance parts if you went that way too.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Years back I had a local shop rebuild mine. It was awful. It had piston slap when cold and of course burned a lot of oil. They machined if for extra compression (their decision, not mine) and it pinged like crazy on all gas types.

I had a Jasper put in about a year ago. The only thing I don't like about it is that it burns at least a qt of oil every 1k miles. I thought maybe it would break-in at some point but it's gone 15k and the oil consumption is still strong. They told me that that consumption was within Toyota's specs. I just know it could be a lot better. I am going to put in a straight Toyota OEM long block next. The factory sells a completed short block and you can buy the separate pieces for the head. I just won't trust any aftermarket engines anymore. I want to get the last of the great japanese engines before they stop making replacement parts! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
