Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Ok don't laugh... I just finished installing Borla headers. I had to remove the intake manifold and power steering pump. Its all back together but the serpentine belt is loose and whining. For the life of me I can't find where the belt tensioner bolt is to tighten it up.
PLEASE HELP! Have to get to work tomorrow... hopefully not in a whining Jeep. Thanks!
Nick

Ok, found the tensioner... No tension bolt or screw, just a spring loaded contraption? Now my question, how do I release the tension to get the belt on?
Thanks again, Nick

There should be a place to put a wrench, or screwdriver on it. Otherwise just pry at an angle you don't think will damage anything nearby.
