I want to do a front axle swap with an axle that has locking hubs is there one that will match my dana 30 rear width <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />. I also intend to run 35"-37" tires with 4.88 gears.

Body Damage is Cool
Check that, you said rear d30? what rear axle are you running? It is not a d30.

Why lock outs? reason?

Look at all the new TJs and xjs they run full time front axles with no problem. But they have a front CV driveshaft.

Im looking for a cheap way to lock by welding up my spider gears. I want to put a junk yard axle that has locking hubs and beter brakes for 37" tires, so my front axle wont spin along with my transfercase chain. this will alow no chirping around turns beter handling on the street.Has this been done before the vacum lockind axle is is a poor design on the d30.

I thought that a 94 yj comes with a dana 30 in the rear. I have a 2.5l
