All my Wix filters so far were "made in Korea". They've been good to me... Sure, not all Korean filters are bad. The one I bought works good. There is original Mitsu # on the filter - just the same as the Mitsu. filter, that was in my truck when I got it. I think, the only manufacturer aproved by MMC could use the same ##.

Don and all who are interested: I just picked up another 5 filters (Baldwin BD28) from Peterbilt (in Red Deer). Invoiced cost was $19.21 each. So five came to $96.05. Not a discount, not a bulk deal - I could have bought one or 20 - same price. Just so's ya knows!

I just called a peterbuilt place in surrey and they said that they would have to order it in (about 3-4 weeks) but the price was right at 18 dollars and change. Thanks for all the info this is a great price..

I think that Peterbilt is going to be our best source - a national Baldwin dealer that doesn't hike the price through the roof (NAPA's price for the Baldwin BD28 is $33.50!!!!). Glad you found them!

I went to Napa on MacLeod Tr. today and was quoted $44(!!) for the Wix 51067 oil filter and was told they don't sell Baldwin.
Is there a better place to buy the Wix?

I got mine at Par Auto in Airdrie for $27. I think they're a division of Auto Parts Plus?

Typo in above post - it was PartSource I was at. Going to try Napa tomorrow. If they're in the $30 range that fine, but $44 is robbery! Got the 2 stores mixed up for some reason - still dillusional from cold meds I think! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

I just looked up my pricing from Amsoil since we sell WIX filters too US price $24 and change WIX PN#51067 not sure what CDN price is. If you know an Amsoil dealer near you give them a call.
