You guys and gals get out there and camp this time of year? We're headed out for our 4th trip of the season tommorow morning. All the ice and snow in town sucks, might as well have a bonfire and enjoy it!

When I went a couple years ago it ended up being the coldest week of the winter up in Maine. It was damn frigid, something in the belows. I ended up singeing my gloves trying to dry them around the fire too close and then going to sleep in a sub zero bag with just about all my gear on and then three of us were under a space blanket too. It was a good time though, although my friend who drove ended up rolling the vehicle on the way back the next morning with all of us in it.

Gone once long ago when I was a wee lad. Melted the soles on my boots trying to dry them out on a rock near the fire (not too close). Also singed the toes off my socks drying them out as well.

Getting wet is a bad idea when your snow camping. BRRRRRRR!
A friend of mine has climbed "El Captain" in Yosemite during the winter. He spends a couple days on the face and camps in a "port-o-ledge". .....Not my cup of tea.

Camping yes, no snow. I'm getting out around once a month now that it's not too hot. ![[Linked Image]](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y55/grandeyota/IMG_0183.jpg)

Not much snow here in the city, couple inches. Most of the side street have ice on them. Lots of abandodned vehicles on the bridges this morning. I think they towed around a hundred cars off the I-90 bridge today. 40 mintues up the hill to Snoqualmie there is TONS of snow. 4 to 12 feet!!! Thats where we're headed...One of my buddies on our last outing, and no he didn't land the front flip off the log.

YOU ARE ALL BUMMING ME OUT!!! AND YES I KNOW I'M YELLING...
Nothing but clouds and rain here. Last weekend there were flood warnings on some of the rivers.
If we don't get snow fast, this will be two years in a row without winter fun. I will be approaching suicidal if that happens.
And don't tell me to take a trip to the snow. I have my [younger] kids that I like to have the fun with and a trip for all of us ins't in the mix as it would require airfare to get anywhere. Everyone this way has the same going on.
Okay, back to the snow dance... Heya hoya, come-on snowa...
