So I have had my brakes lock up occasionally since I got my 95 Tacoma last June. I didn't think much of it until it got icy and they locked up on me when I hit the brakes hard and the truck promptly pulled a tailspin and I ended up in a field across the road facing the opposite direction. A wake up call to say the least...
So I decided maybe it's time to look at my brakes. I found both front calipers had two of the four pistons sticking, so I took them apart and cleaned them up and got them back together. There is definetly a difference since I got them back on, but I was looking in the Chilton Repair book and was reading about the ABS system. Decided to check the fuse in the main fuse box, only to find there was not one there... Anyone know why someone would take the fuse out?

I ordered two fuses from Toyota so if one blows when I put it in there, I don't have to get the dealer to order another one. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ABS system in a Tacoma?

Hi, welcome to the boards!! There are several FSM references sticky'd at the top of this section.

The fuse was removed to sell the truck from the sounds of it. Toss that Chiltons under the seat for the road, and check the sticky above.
