I recently started doing the spring over in my 93 YJ, I have 5.5 inch springs and am doing the shackle reversal, the rear end perches matched up perfectly, but the front doesnt look like im going to be so lucky. Does anybody know what the difference is in the perch width between a ford dana 60 ans the stock 30? Any help would be great

it depends on the year of d60, 78-79 kingpin d60 is 32" later models range from 36-42" on center.
If you have a 32" you can adjust the pig side perch hole over about 5/8" approx, and replace the long side perch.
If later model, much more fab is involved.

i dont have it finished yet. I still have to do steering, and the tub is off the jeep. Is is also on a 30 inch tire so that it can fit in the tiny ass garage that i have with a barkmulch floor, But I will take some pics and give ya what I got so far, It has dana 60's with the spring over and 5.5 inch rustys springs, when it is finished it will also have a 3 inch body lift and most likely a 38x12.5 tsl, but im not sure if that will be big enough, the motor is still the 2.5, but I have a geared transfer and 5.29 gears in the axles.

Be advised, that prying the springs over to "fit" will cause bushing wear and twisting of the springs. It can also put stress on the frame. If you take the time to "adjust" the mounting holes a bit you will much happier with the long term performance.

the only reason I had to do that is because the frame was sitting exactly even under the jeep, now that is is in and has been settled there is no more stress on the bushings than there was before this axle.
