I have a 2002 Chevy Tracker Convertible.
Is there a company that offers a roof rack covering the rear area?
Calmini has one for the Sidekick/Geo Tracker. This one:

But I have never seen one for the new Tracker/Vitara. I don't want the basket but the tubular base carrier only.

I haven't seen a roof rack for our year Tracker/Vitara. Rocky-road.com sells a rack that can be mounted to the spare tire carrier, I think. I ended up getting an aftermarket hardtop with a roof rack, but I prefer the convertible installed instead, so sometimes I'm packed pretty tight inside. I use the Tracker to get back into trout streams and lakes in the Sierras and usually have my dog with me, a 110 lb Rottweiler who takes up a lot of room in the back. I used a friend's hitch carrier once, but not the best setup....too low and catches a lot of dust...Let us know what you come up with.
