wow, any one with some hesitaion while accerlerating should do this. espcialy if your truck has high mileage and the ORIGINAL wires. my truck really woke up, also figured out the guy I bought it from did not put the shims on it sooooo that was the source of the brake clicking. the wires I put on are from toyota, they have the clips and the whole job took me less than 5 minutes. I had already put new Bosh plugs in it (I think they were the quad prong) ones. next major thing is the oil leak I am develpoing at the rear main. Rich

Not saying its gonna happen, but bosch plugs I find are junk and do more harm than good with hesitation.
I would suggest denso or NGK which is what yota uses (and alot of others).

I was also told if you use anything except toyota plugs that you will burn up your coil packs. My truck has 146,000 miles on it and takes about 4 cranks to start so I am headed to the toyota stealer to get some new wires and plugs.

thanks for the heads up I will replace them as well. I have always had good luck with them in the v8's. long ago when I had a nissian 720 with the zz24 ( I believe) it was I ran split fire this was around 1990-1. it was the engine with a 4 banger and 8 plugs. Rich

Something in thier design (bosch) causes the problem-dont know exactly but many, many people have been dissatisfied with thier plugs. You can go down to the dealer or you can buy everything you need here: http://sparkplugs.com/
