Getting the Wheeling Fever
So, I have been reading a couple of posts about using loctite on bolts when reinstalling the clutch/tranny.

Seeing as how my tranny is laying on the ground and my clutch all ready to go in I though that I should pursue the subject PRIOR to installation.

All the other times I have installed clutches (the list is not extensive) I don't recall using any loctite.

So, when do y'all use loctite on clutch/tranny jobs?

Thanks for the advice.

-frozen (in spite of the name, this is my first clutch job done in a snowy driveway.)

Only place loctite would be used is the flywheel bolts. I have never used it and have had no problems, but some here say they wouldn,t leave home without it. (on the flywheel bolts :))

I hear that. Went to Flagstaff to play in the snow on Sun. Came home to Surprise in the afternoon, and it's snowing <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
