I got this 93 trooper for a daily driver. I don't really like how they look without the fender flares, so I bought some used flares off of a wrecked trooper here on this site. I think they came off of a 96 trooper?? I also added a newer style front bumper, its off of a 02 trooper. The install wasn't that bad really. The hardest part was the little peices on the front of the rear doors. I still have to fix some front end damage Pics.... Looks nice, although I am not a big fan of the two-tone look (yes I know my Trooper is two-tone).
Did you get the newer rear mud flaps off the donor vehicle? They have integrated a portion of the flare on the back side of the rear wheel well. If you didn't get them I still have mine from my old 99, you could have them cheap. They are black, though, as I had a monochrome Trooper.

Thanks, Yeah I got those peices. I'm building a rear bumper off of my trooper, so I haven't been able to put them on. Call me crazy but I kinda like the two tone <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

The Trooper definitely looks better with the flares. I've had some fender flares sitting in my garage for a while now waiting to be installed on my Trooper. Did you drill the holes in the panels like how it came stock on 95+ Troopers or how did you install them?
Also, is there a duplicolor spray paint # that matches the gold because I'm going to keep mine two tone since my bumpers and the bottom of the doors are gold. I'm wanting to clean up the flares I have and the best process I've thought of to do that is to sand-Bondo-sand-primer-paint-clear. Any thoughts?

On the big flare parts I just dilled holes for the bottom of the flare. The flare parts are extremly easy to install. Its the little peices on the doors that are hard to get straight. I had to drill a few holes on each side to get it right. I didn't have to install those little clips behind the flares. They wern't needed. I might have to intall maybe two of them, just to get the top of the flare pulled in closer to the body but that it.
I'm not sure on the paint, I bought some duplicolor paint but it was alittle off, so I have to keep looking. I too need to repaint the flares.

Here is how it would look with black flares. I like the two tone look better myself. ![[Linked Image]](http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c317/onebadtrooper/93%20trooper/trooper1.jpg)

I have a question for someone. I just bought a 95 Trooper and the previous owner had some damage to the front passenger side fender and it broke the front fender flare that attaches to the bumper. Does anyone have any clue where i could find a replacement part for that? Gray in color but same design as the flares on this 93 trooper. Thanks.
