What type of fluid do you recomend I use in my clutch and break masters? Can I use DOT 3 in both? Thanks.

I use DOT 3 Castrol in Brakes and Clutch. Change every year and all is well!

Yep, DOT 3. Brake fluid attracts water, so about every 2 years, do a complete system flush on each. Fresh fluid is a light amber color; old stuff is darker.

I lent my Falcon to my mother in law once... she topped up my power steering fluid with brake fluid.... lol. I wasn't laughing at the time though. Off topic a bit I guess... but had brake fluid mentioned though

I use Valvoline SynPower Synthetic brake fluid in my 600RR and the truck. It holds up very well under tough conditions. Highly recommended!

Yeah, I thought that's what you ment...everything but the 'flippin'. I looked through the 'flippin' manual for maybe a half an hour. In every chapter that made sense. Transmission, breaks, maintenence... I honestly spent about 30 minutes probably more. I only found one place that said DOT 3 for the breaks. And even if I spent another half hour looking and found info for the clutch master I still wanted feedback from the real world. Maybe DOT 4 is better, maybe there is a new synthetic blah blah blah camel piss blah blah cough cough I'm done.
