Need a Spot
I'm looking for a mercury switch activated under-hood light for my '92 Wrangler. Anyone have any ideas?

That is going to be a tough one the feds have been slowly outlawing mercury due to environ. issues. Why a merc. switch?? The light would be blinking on and off with cornering and vehicle attitude(on while climbing or decending hills).I would suggest a contact or plunger switch.

Body Damage is Cool
Pull one of any Cherokee. Every one I've seen even up to 2001 has one.
Always wondered how those know when you open the hood, thanks!

I saw an infomercial on TV for some little LED lights that are activated when pulled away from a magnet. I was thinking this would work great for under hood lights.
