I have 99 TOD Trooper, and I was wondering why my front center caps on my wheels are so much longer than the back. The obvious answer would be that the hubs stick out in the front, but I see other troopers that appear to be my same year model (98-99) with 4 equal caps, the short ones. Does a TOD hub stick out like a locking/autolocking hub? Thanks.

Not all 2nd generation Troopers were four wheel drive.
Ones without four wheel drive don't need the longer caps in front to cover the hubs.

I'm sorry, I meant to put in my post that I've seen them with the TOD sticker on the back window, and all short caps. Unless someone is just faking with a sticker.

As long as you do not have locking hubs, auto or manual, just have the plate that bolts up in place of the hubs for shift on the fly and track on demand, you should be able to put short caps on the front.
