First off, I searched for awhile and didn't find the answers to my questions. However I am new and would love to have guidance in the right direction if someone knows the correct thread to talk about this on.

I have a '89 LWB montero with the 3.0L V6 auto trans. I found a 2 door 3.0L manual at a junk yard and am tempted to pull the tranny (amongst other things) and swap it with my auto. Here are my questions:

o Is the ECU/ECM the same for the manual as it is for the auto?
o Is there anything else that I need to worry about? (other than that which is posted in the drivetrain bible)
