I can't tell if it's actually locking or not, it feels the same as the other side but I don't hear any noises from inside the hub when it locks and unlocks like I do on the passenger side hub. It almost sounds like my bicycle sounded when equipped with a piece of cardboard and clothespin. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Will I damage anything worse if I drive home after work...20 miles...? I want to say my son-in-law's 4-runner's had one of the hubs go bad...spring broke/something and it made this clack, clack, clacking sound on that side. I basicly want to know what I'm gonna ruin when I drive it home this evening?
