my friends looking at a 82 jeep cj was just wondering how $$new rockers are and how hard it is to find parts for a jeep that old

Not hard to find parts for jeep that old. Just realize you're going to be buying alot of them.

If your changing rockers why not roller them and save some HP?

Usually the rockers far outlast the cam and lifers. If the thing is noisy just put a new set of slightly longer push rods in her. Then wait till cam, lifters and rockers are actually needed. Rockers and rocker balls by themselves will do nothing for that ride.
