Not my first Ford but my first F-150, all I know is that it has a 302, 4WD, 4 speed manual, could anybody else give me some more info on it. My friend told me that the 302 dies out after it has been running for a couple of minutes but my thoughts are that the automatic choke isn't working properly, or something with the fuel, he thinks that the motor is bad, but he doesn't know the difference between a V-6 and a straight 6 so I'm not counting on him plus when it runs it does sound good and healthy. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Need a Spot
U could be run out of fuel, Check the fuel pressure, check the line from the tank could be cracked and sucking air. Or have it checked out by a repair shop. The ford 302 is one of fords more depandable motor not real powerful but if took care of are fairly dependable.

Thanks for the reply but not really looking for advice on what could be wrong with the motor as whatever it is I could probably fix it, but like what type of rear end, front end, independent front, or solid, stuff like that I thought they either had 8.8" rears or 9" but not sure I haven't even looked at it yet but he is giving me such a good deal that I can't pass it up, and I haven't had a chance to go look at it Thanks
