Thanks for the info. I ordered one as none of the local Kragens had it in stock. I'll advise if it works.

Mine didn't have the ground terminal on it like the one pictured, but it still works the gauge fine.

It looks like a ground terminal but I cannot see why there would be one since the sender screws into the block and gets it ground from there. I think it is because that sender is used on many different cars that have different style connectors. The connector on my 1988 was a dual style. It had a typical push on on the end and a slide on on the side. The push on was what was used for my old oil pressure switch. With the new sender I used the side of the connector and slid it on. ![[Linked Image]](http://usera.imagecave.com/ToolPants/Toyota/sendermycar2.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](http://usera.imagecave.com/ToolPants/IMG_2686.JPG)

I have a 1988 22R pickup. I put in a 1987 4Runner 4 cylinder SR5 cluster in the pickup. It was a Yazaki cluster. I bought this sender from Kragens and the oil pressure gauge worked fine. Ok, I received and tried this sender today. Still no go. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> When I ground the gauge, the needle rises to almost the top. I checked the resistance on the gauge and it checks out ok. Anybody have any ideas? I've tried three different senders now and the gauge still doesn't work. The tests I performed on the gauge are from the FSM and would seem to indicate it and the wiring to it are ok. TIA..
