Getting the Wheeling Fever
Besides pickups and 4runners, are any of the Toy cars good candidates for donors?

Thanks,

Michael

If you just need a block/head, and can swap all yer EFI, you can use one from an 80s Celica.

85' Celica has the same style motor that was used through 95' (flat pistons and shorter block). Only difference is the motor mounts and oil pickup/oil pan which can be transfered off of your current engine.

Your intake/exhuast will bolt up with no problems. Anything earlier and you will run into problems.

Yup, still kicking and breathing. Got a broken foot though....and that sucks, but what can a guy do. Kinda tough to work on my rigs though- 88's front end has been in the air for almost two weeks now down to bare spindles. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />.

Sorry for the hijack....

Those are your drop-ins.

So, do you have a hole, or a dead but rebuildable engine?
If the latter, call around to your local machine shops.

Some cracker took the head off, then let it sit and rust shut for a year.

What about something like:

You are looking at a used Japanese imported engine that is a direct factory replacement for Toyota Camry and Celica that have a 3SFE engine from 1987 through April of 1989.
