Getting the Wheeling Fever
Yeah, there's never a question to me whether its locked or not. I look at my tach to be sure but there is a discernible difference in the feel of the drivetrain. I've just got to figure out why its doing this. The shifts are great and I really don't notice any other problems with the trans. apart from this. I'm going to try to dig into the FSM some more on this in the next week or so. When I figure it out, I'll be sure to post an update.

Body Damage is Cool
I've noticed on mine that it barely holds the locked position. Pulling an empty little utility trailer will have mine not locking. And in threads by others, it seems common that way.

Makes me wonder if you've got something going on that's imparting a bit of drag that's causing you to not lock and burn more gas. Could be as simple as low tire pressure, or a dragging e-brake.

Now there's one I hadn't thought of. I'm going through my brakes next week and replacing the fronts. I'm also doing some driveline work and I'll check tire pressure again. I'll let you know if one of these things seems to have solved it.

i had a dragging e-brake from being frozen for a few days this year, just had my drums turned today, no more grabbing in the rear brakes now.

My torque converter comes unlocked quite easily too, even with just the slightest incline.

Crain? (correction) how about yours with the Valve Body job?
