So I recently got my Jeep the 3.5" Rubicon lift,


I know the tires look out of place, but that will come in time. Well I noticed that my driveline around 30 mph shakes, but it goes away. I talked to the shop that did the work and it does occasionally happen. They suggested I do a slip yoke eliminator and a new drive line which would fix this, or lower my transfer case (I would rather not having things lower to the ground IMO). I guess my question is will this fix my issue, 2 is it okay to still drive it (dont have the cash atm to just fix it). Am I still going to have the flex and everything that should be correct? I guess I dont fully understand what the slip yoke eliminator is suppose to do. I know it gives your driveline a proper angle, just it seem's to cost around 600 buck's or so for the parts to get it done(including new driveline). Any help would be apperciated.

Just do a transfer case drop till you have the dough to buy a new driveline and pull everything apart for the SYE.

Easy to install and just as easy to remove. If your lift kit didn't come with one they're dirt cheap, $20 or so.

Felt the same way about the tires when I lifted my XJ, looked hella funny for a few weeks till I got bigger tires.
Now it just like it should've from the factory.

But the driveline will last till I can get it fixed? I'm working for the next like 9 day's straight so not going to get a chance just hoping I don't damage anything in the mean time.

The SYE(slip yoke eliminator) will help the drivelineout by shortening your output shaft on your X-fer, which gives you room for a longer driveshaft( about 3-4 inches longer), thereby changing your angle some. You have theright idea about the X-fer drop, best to keep it up high, but, like the guy before me said, it is a cheap quick fix until you can get the SYE. Someone was telling me I didn't need to do a SYE, though honestly I will because eventually it's going to receive a larger lift. That kit you linked me is that for a CV Drive shaft?
