Anyone have any good suggestions on some good shocks for a GenI ?
Changed the oil in it and noticed my shocks looked like some 2inch fencing pipe!!

KYB Gas Adjust shocks are your best bet for ride and comfort, also they are factory equipment. you can find them on Tirerack.com and Summitracing.com fairly cheap. Dont go with Monroe shocks

Part numbers:
Front: KYB-KG5603A
Rear: KYB-KG4034
Summit Racing is a few dollars cheaper but you will have to wait till the 20th for shipping I would recommend Tirerack.com since they usually keep them in stock and its only a few dollars more. They ship fast too.

thanks. Would anyone know where i could find those crappy weatherstips (the only rubber weatherstripping on the outside of both doors, it pops off real easy)
Mines been through years of ultraviolet exsposure..(sun) and there looking awfully bent out of shape about it.

I like my KYBs. I want to try Bilsteins some day, they are supposed to be good too.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

The Bilsteins on my Raider are wonderful. Just the right stiffness for me.

Never tried KYBs, but I like the Bilsteins with 32" tires.... not sure if they're available for the leaf spring models. Tokicko also makes a shock for some models.

I have Bilsteins on my LWB and KYBs on my Raider. KYBs are pretty good but Bilsteins are a bit better. I was checking the Bilstien website and they only list for the V6 models. So I assume they stoped making the 4cyl ones? or just dont list them??? Grab some part #'s jon!
