Hey guys, I?m sure that this has been covered probably a thousand times!!! I just need to know. I?ve looked and cannot find the answer. So please feel free to impress me with your speed and insult me with whatever other comments you want to throw in. HA
Anyway what gear ratio came with a 97 Tacoma 2.7ltr reg. cab 4x4 with a manual tranny. 4.10 or 4.30 ? Thanks

I cant tell you which one it is but you could get the gear code off the door jam and search for what gears that signifies.

My 01 tacoma has a 2.7 4 cyl. I had to replace the front diff. and it has 3.90 something gears. I thought it was odd so I called toyota and ran my vin number, they confirmed it. Good Luck
