i did my lower quarter panels with line-x, cost me (4 years ago) $180, included the front fenders (bottom 8") all the way back to the end of the bed. i like it alot, low maintenance, no chips in the paint from rocks.

I havent done Rhino or Linex but I am planning on Linexing the bed and the hood with the hood being color coded. I was quoted at about 500$ for the bed and another $500 to do the hood in custom color.

My Dad had his red toyo rhino lined in the bed. He wanted to get red rhino liner to match, but the salesman talked him out of it. He said after a few years the red turns to pink. The only good fadeless colors he said were tan, gray, and black. That was 4 years ago, maybe they have invented some new fade proof polymers, but I would definately investigate. I would not want a pink bed:o

Rhino liner fades really fast IMHO.
After 7 years my Permatech looks better than my neighbors Rhino liner after only 6 months. Just something to consider.

Teh price is going to vary from shop to shop, the only common pricing is for the beds. Anything else is custom work and brings a custom price, and there usually isn't any warranty for anything other than the bed. IMO I would get teh line-x, it is a far superior product than the others, yes it costs more, but it is worth the extra money If you aren't looking to spend several $100, you should look into getting Duraback and roll it on yourself. I havent done Rhino or Linex but I am planning on Linexing the bed and the hood with the hood being color coded. I was quoted at about 500$ for the bed and another $500 to do the hood in custom color. The $500 for a line-x'd hood in a custom color is a bit extreme IMO, my buddy only charges $800 to do an inerior, and with a hood there is little very little prep involved. It should be even cheaper if you brought the hood in. It may also be cheaper now than when you got the original quote. IIRC, they have new guns that allow them to add the color at the nozzle, so they don't have to waste a lot of product of a mixed color when they purge the hose.

Need a Spot
|
I had the bed of my truck Rhino lined a few years ago and I also paid a bit extra to have them run the liner up over the lip of the bed and down the side about an inch. This covered up the spots where I commonly banged up the paint and let me get rid of my lousy plastic bolt-in bedliner which had sanded down the paint pretty badly (sand and off-roading vibration). I don't remember the overall cost, but it wasn't particularly cheap.
The lining has survived several years of Arizona sunlight. It's not as dark a black as it was, but it has held up well. It gets spots when I spill oil on it (difficult to clean), but a dust storm or running down a dirt road drys that up after a while :-).
The only thing I don't like is that the old plastic bedliner was so slippery that it was easy to slide heavy things in and out of the bed, while the new lining is more rubbery, which prevents stuff from sliding out unexpectedly but requires more work moving heavy stuff around.

Here's an idea for you. The next time you need to haul something heavy look up a local sheet metal shop or metal supply house and have them cut you a piece of galvanized 24ga. (or 22ga if you haul really heavy things) a little bit smaller than your bed. The liner will hold the metal and you can slide anything you need in or out. It should'nt cost but about $30 for a piece of metal that big. Just don't forget and drive down the interstate with the metal loose. Sheet metal flys really good. Don't ask...

I got some do it yourself duro-liner from the local auto store. All you so is prep bed and roll it on. It takes a few coats and about a day or so to dry completely. Overall it ran about 100 dollars for liner and the prep kit which comes with a pan scotch brite and roller.
