Here's a photo of the gauge pod from Mosk. I was trying to get a photo while driving, and it obviously didn't come out that well. You get the idea though...

I don't have the little black caps over the screws yet. Overall, it fits very well. The gauges just barely fit, but that's a good thing. The unit should be as small as possible, and it is. That's a boost gauge on top (showing about 6 psi, max is 10 right now), and a water temp gauge in the middle, then EGT on the bottom. The top two gauges are VDO Vision Series, and the bottom is Cockpit Series. If I had known they'd look this much different, especially at night, I would have gone with the Vision series for the EGT gauge as well.

Oh, and you might notice that the tach shows a redline of about 4500 rpm... which is because that's the redline of the Toyota diesel under the hood.

Very nice, Andy! Thanks for posting this. How's the turbo diesel running in the winter?

We're actually heading up to South Shore this afternoon to take the kids skiing for the weekend w/my in-laws. If I didn't have kids and family in-tow I'd love to check out your conversion, but that ain't gonna happen this weekend. Maybe another time <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

To folks that aren't Andy: I received more of the 84-88 three gauge pillars from my manufacturer yesterday, so I'll be filling the few orders that were backordered ASAP. If I can get them out before we leave I will, otherwise they'll mail after the holiday.

No worries Jeff, I'll be out of town this weekend anyway. Edit: forgot to add, it runs too cold right now, usually around 140 F water temps. It'll heat up to 180 or so when going up long hills, but rapidly cools after that. EGT's get up to a max of about 1050 F (post-turbo) on long hills, but when cruising around, are usually at 600 or so.

Chris, "nice windshield"??? Oh, you must be talking about the "speed cracks". THey help me go faster.

I've got one too.. Jeff thanks for your continued support of the toyota community... And being patient answering some repetitive and basic questions (mine)!

I bought the 2-gauge unit.. Wish I had purchased the 3 gauge now, as I've got EGT and no place to put it!
