Getting the Wheeling Fever
hey guys,
Heres the deal I have re-appering water on my passenger floor board. I have looked all over the truck cant find any thing that seems like it could let the water in. I did find under the glovebox against the firewall a piece of the sound reduction foam that was wet but cant see where the water is coming from.(not from heater/ac unit, or from any of the wire gromets on the firewall.) if any body has any thoughts or knowledge from having the same prob. that would be great.
Thanks for the time,
Eric S.

Check the windshield seals.

From what I can see the seals are ok, but could there be some way water is making its way in once it goes in the "tray" that holds that windshield wiper linkage?

There's all kind of drains and weep holes in through there, I would start checking those.

Is it occuring during/after rain, our after you have been in water?

Are you sure your A/C is not icing up and then thawing leaving water on the floor?

Your A/C is on by default every time you use your defroster. My 2001 Taco's A/C runs even if I try to turn it off with the dash button...

Huh. I did not know that, I guess I need to take another look at that A/C to make sure that its not the prob.
