Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread no 2 wheel drive on my dana 300 #790981 02/20/07 06:44 AM Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 14 IN H hdrulz OP Need a Spot need a little help on this one for the last week I was driving in 4 hi ( 2 foot of snow) now the plows finally did there job and cleared the roads my transfer case wont engage the rear axle / drive shaft in 2 hi. In 4 hi only the front pulls i have the stock singlr shifter. It sounds to me like either part of your linkage that works the rear shift fork broke or bent, or you did some serious damage to the t-case. Is it leaking? There should be 2 shafts moving in and out of the T-case when you move the shift lever. You may have just damaged part of the linkage and are only moving the front shift fork. You may need to pull the case too, but its a lot easier to lay under the jeep and have someone shift it before you pull it.
