what were the gear ratio on a 82 CJ 7 w/151 cid. 4 speed for the front 30 and rear 20 axle (im trying to avoid opining the diff. covers )

It is easy to find out on ANY vehicle! Jack up one rear wheel and put the tranny in neutral.. MARK the driveshaft and the tire... TURN the tire one time around while counting the turns of the driveshaft.. that is all there is to it! If it goes a little over 3 turns it is a 3:07 (doubtful) If it goes a little over 4 turns it is a 4:11.. Yours may go a bit over 5 turns...
