sorry guys, i sold my jeep today and replaced it with an 06 mazda 6 (4 year warranty vs. 07 3 year warranty, plus all sorts of cash incentives - i ended up paying $13,000 for a $25,000 car )

six speed auto sport transmission with smartstick (an autostick), V6 w/ 215hp, all sorts of other stuff - i finally have A/C, cruise control, power windows AND locks! haha - all the creature comforts i've missed for the past few years

I'll buy another jeep in a few years but i'm still in college and a 9 year old daily driver jeep was getting a little expensive

We bought my wife a Mazda 3s and she absolutly loves it.
I have to admit it it's actually fun to drive. Certainly alot more nible than my XJ.
4 wheel disc brakes and the sequential shift transmission make for a zippy car around town.

yeah i'm at 20 years also.

230+ miles and if i hadnt have toasted a valve spring (very peculiar problem...) i would still be up and running.

but hey! if you gotta tear it down and replace things... might as well get a cam too!

I had a 25yr old CJ for a DD for 6 years, but it wouldn't tow my camper I sold it for an '03 silverado towards the end of last summer. I know I'm going to miss going topless this summer, gonna have to leave that to the wife now

get a cheaper tow rig and you can keep your cj!!!

i've got a cherokee that wont haul my camper and sand rail to the beach.

so what do i do?

i get a 1978 1 Ton Dually Crew Cab with a 350 and a 4 speed.

problem solved and it was next to nothing to get it!

and the best part?

i can work on it myself!

i dont have to pay someone to do it

If money is the issue, keep the jeep and sport a VESPA around town. Just dont tell your friends.
