I was reading something about using a crush sleeve eliminator, is this worth it?

Body Damage is Cool
In my opinion yes ..

when I did my ARB's .. I used the OE spacer out of the 79-80 toys , and the shims .. 1 time set up .

were can i get these at? i had one and used it now i am setting up another pair of 4.88 and am about to set up a pair of 5.29. i just bought a regular crush sleeve from the dealer for $14. there is no way i could get a crush sleeve eliminator from them cause whenever i get parts from them they will not look anything up without a vin#. they suck (both local dealers) i couldnt get them to look up the starter rebuild kit... they said it didn't exist. i got the part # and finaly they ordered it for me. its like pulling teeth with them.

Okay The spacer is used with shims correct? Use appropriate shims to get correct pinion bearing preaload? Seems better to have this if you have to repair the diffs and beat trying to crush the sleeve. Any input would be appreciated.

You nailed it.
Pinion seal replacement becomes painless as well.
I don't know about strength claims, but they make sense. Sooooo much easier to set up gears.

P.S. get a good inchpound torque wrench, if you don't already have one. And http://www.gearinstalls.com (our own ZUK) is very helpful.
