Need a Spot
First...I did search this, and didn't find what I need...

I'm looking into buying a '94 Rodeo 4x4, but part of its use would be behind our RV. I know they sell the brackets for flat towing it, but it looks like they only want to tow at 30mph! I saw something mentioned about adding a neutral position to the transfer case...is that for real? If so, what does it take to get it done? I know another option would be to throw in a Waggy D44 and install a full floater kit. I don't really want to go that deep though. The last option is to disco the driveshaft...but with my parents using the RV and Rodeo, its not an option for me.
Does anyone tow their Rodeo as is (stock)? Any tips would be great!
Thanks!
-Mike

Body Damage is Cool
I know Curtis Johnson use to tow his, but that tranny would wine in every gear after a while of being towed. He has since replaced the tranny with a toyota one. I got the old one and it is very noisy in all gears but 4th. I would recommend disconnecting the rear drive shaft as it is the cheapest way to get around this or look into one of the other options you mentioned if money is not the issue.

Roll Me Over
This has been discussed a few times here:

REMCO Driveline Disconnect for Isuzus

At $650, its pricey, but if you don't want to crawl under and disconnect the driveshaft each time, it may be your best option.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check out the driveshaft disco.
