Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just bought this older unit from one of our fellow members along with a tbi spacer which I just installed today on my 91 2.8l. Wow what difference it made. Now my question is this: Where do I mount the energy pak unit? There doesn't seem to be much free space under the hood! [Linked Image]
Also, does the ultra coil replace my existing one and do I mount it there or is there a better place for it as well?
Thanks,
Mark

Heya ThunderWolf,

I don't have a Jacobs, but I installed a MSD 6AL Ignition recently. Here is a photo (we have the same engine) showing where I placed the ignition module and tach adapter.

If you want more info, here is more ~> MSD ignition upgrade for Trooper.

Good luck and let us know what you come up with. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
