Spin em a little faster! They should self-clean with them huge sipes between the lugs. I've been in some pretty sticky clay in my time but my muds have never clogged up.
I think the idea of the mud is the weight of the vehicle pushes the exesting mud out and grabs some new mud every revolution.. So it may APPEAR to be clogged but it is new mud every time it goes around.
With an AT the mud does clog and cannot come out in the same way.

I plan on keeping this jeep and am wondering since its fairly new should i treat the underside this summer with some of the eastman products to keep it from rusting in the future? Want my son to have it someday, a long time from now, God willing. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

Well you haven't told us where you live.. If you live near me you will be wasting your money to paint the underside..
If there is salt on your raods in the winter or if you plan on driving on the seashore...it won't matter what you put under there...your son will only be handed a pile of rust!

Yeah but the rigs are massive pieces of iron...and thay aren't thinking of handing them down to a son either. How old is the son? Compute his age and go look at a few vehicles around town that are the age you are thinking of handing down at. I thought of doing that with a CJ I purchased new... When it came time the son wanted a camero!!!

Eastman Rust Encapsulator works as good as or better than POR-15. Just as pricey, too. I like that you can get it in spray cans. My dad buys a good amount of stuff from Eastwood once in a while...it's just good stuff.
