Getting the Wheeling Fever
I need some serious help because it's getting worse every day. My '88 4Runner with the 22RE has developed a real bad surge while driving. Kind of like its running out of gas. It used to be only at a constant speed but now it's getting to the point it does it all the time accelerating and driving. The only time it does not do it is when idling. I've tried everything, plugs, wires, filters, EGR, all but the TPS. Any Ideas?

Might want to check out the TPS:

And check for any stored trouble codes.
