Body Damage is Cool
low brake fluid sensor in your master cylinder reservoir, check your front pads for wear, if they're good put a little more in the reservoir, should go away.

All my stuff checks out and I get the same thing. I hear of a lot of people that get this issue. Mine has got to be the e-brake cable doing something that keeps the sensor on even though it is disengaged. If everything checks out alright and the e-brake is not engaged while driving then it isn't too much of a concern in my opinion.

The sensor in the reservoir cap can also go bad.

I have the same problem on my 03 Xtra cab, 4cyl, 5Spd with 49k miles. When I release the parking brake the light doesn't turn off. Sometimes I twist the Parking Brake handle around and push it in at the same time and the light sometimes stays off.

I'll check the brake pads and fluid just in case.
