Would anyone happen to have the part # for the fuel injector grommets/insulators? The ones where the injectors go into the manifold. The two forward injectors have way bigger grommets than the rear two. I tried getting them at 3 different dealers but they all couldn't figure it out. They said the part# is the same. But clearly its different.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about please help. Had the injectors cleaned and would like to get it back on the road asap.

The injectors I've seen 22re / 22rte the rubber is the same. NAPA carried a kit for the injectors. Dunno about the dealer.
Witchhunter will replace them also for $15/each, which includes cleaning and flow testing.
If you think they're different - maybe post up a photo... Are you sure it's a stock injector?

The stock 22RTE lower intake has phenolic spacers on the two injector bosses on either side of the thermostat housing. They are a nice touch but as far as I know the spacers aren't available separately. If these broke/cracked/are damaged, you will need to replace the lower intake manifold with one from a 22RE. Luckily, these are widely available.

Jeff I don't even know what phenolic means but it sounds cool. Luckily I found the one I lost. The dealers I tried had never heard of such a thing. My next step was just to swap in a spare 22re manifold that I had laying around. I now know how special these little things are. Got the cleaned injectors back in today and it runs much better. However, I did notice some oil in the intake tube when I was putting everything back together. Looks like the turbo might be on its way out. Thanks for the input.

Phenolic resin is used as an insulating layer when it cools and hardens. In this case, the phenolic spacers serve to insulate the injectors from the heat of the manifold, specifically heat of the thermostat housing. This was a little nod towards helping the turbo motors run a little better by keeping their fuel a little cooler. It's a nice touch, but not necessary.
Glad you found yours.
A little bit of oil in the intake tract is common. It's only a problem if you have a lot of oil.
Good luck,
Jeff

Just for future reference, the spacer is 90561-10004 and the o-ring below it is 90301-19006.

man kudos for the part #'s. The dealers I talked to had know clue what I was talking about and told me I was making this part up. If for some reason I need a new set one day I'll be sure to rub this part # in there face.
Mosk...there was several drips of oil in the intakte tube and there was a film of oil on the rubber elbow that goes to the TB. It wasn't like there was a stream of oil pouring out of the tube. I'm new to turbos so I wasn't sure.

I'm new to turbos so I wasn't sure. Sounds typical. There's probably some leakage in the seals, but you are likely OK. I would keep track of how much oil it's using, and let that be your guide.
