ive pulled mine out before by acident, pull the diff cover and look for clips

Not sure on the IFS axles, but on the solid axle, there is a spring clip inside the CV that you need to drive off to remove the CV/birfied joint. The solid axle birf. won't fit the splines on your IFS locking hubs for sure.
