It consists of a Honda 5.5hp engine driving a 60 amp. automotive alt. I'm going to be using it at the hunt camp as we run 12volt lighting etc just so we dont have listen to a constant roar of a 110v generator. Just interested to see if there is any interest for this kind of set up. If everything works as planned I might considered building units for others. Keep the Shiney Side up. Support our troops. It would take hours to charge up a car battery. My thinking is 12v 60 amps. to charge batteries/ boost etc. When I'm in the bush I like to run everything 12v on batteries and run a generator for a relatively short time to charge batteries. I just hate having to listen to a 110 v generator run all night. Keep the Shiney Side up. Support our troops.
