Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread Fuel pressure drops after sitting a week #794895 03/06/07 05:20 AM Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 9 KS M mollydawg OP Need a Spot My '96 Tacoma 4x4 2.7 appears to drop it's fuel pressure after it sits for a week without being started. Takes several minutes to start again after that. Ignition checks ok, but it acts like it's starved for fuel, then after it starts, runs fine. It will start and run ok and only gives me this condition after it sits for about a week without starting. Fuel pump, fuel regulator, fuel filter, fuel injectors have all been replaced in the last 6 mo. Engine has 295,000 on it but is in good shape. What can cause the pressure to fall off like that???
