Does auto body work take 4ever or is it just me?!! I had a rust-through about half an inch in diameter and that dang hole took me like 6 hours to fix from start to finish. And the finished product isn't perfect, either, but will stop the rust until the Heep gets painted in a few months.

I have one other spot on the side of my front fender (not a rust-through) but I'm skeptical about touching it since body work takes me so long. I'm also a perfectionist but my finished product is never perfect!!! Maybe it just takes practice, heh. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I had a rust bucket of an 80 CJ5 that I LOVED. THe only problem is every time you kicked it about 5 lbs of rusted metal would fall off the thing. I got more than I paid for it when selling based on spare parts alone but the body work was what killed me. once I got the metal cut out of the rear I had no clue what to do. IT would have looked better just to bend some sheet metal over it and tack it into place.

Dents are one thing but actual holes are a pain to fix.
