Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
I've had my 95 4runner (180k miles) parked in my garage since Dec. knowing that I had a blown (2nd) head gasket (burning coolant - fast). I've been struggling with spending the cash to fix it but I think I'll bite the bullet and get it fixed (quoted $1500-1800). Beats spending $30k on a new truck. My question is, I pulled the spark plug from the #1 cylinder and it is completely full of coolant. Do think there's additional damage to any other parts? It was running rough when I parked it (from the water) but I was still able to drive it. I know it filled while being parked. Just getting my ducks in a row before putting it in the garage and having them tell me it cost an additional $2k.

If you are located near Kansas I have a totaly rebuilt 3vze with 15,000 miles on it since rebuild. Will sell it for $2000.00. I removed it to do a 3.4 swap. I pulled it out in Dec 06 and it has been stored in the garage since that time.
