I wheeled in Crozet, Virginia yesterday. It's really a different experience to wheel a course that is intentionally set up to create obstacles. I felt a little out of my league, but I finished without too much carnage. I didn't disconnect my front sway bar because the cheap replacement CV axle binds up on full droop. Big mistake - the bolt sheared off the sway bar quick disconnect (should be easy to fix). It was a non-stop, white knuckle experience all the way, and I thought I had managed to get through without body damage. Then, the last 50 feet of the course (the only flat 50 feet) I went through a puddle and a hidden branch in the water leaped out of the water and slapped my rear panel denting it. It's like the course said, "No one leaves without SOME damage." Pete ![[Linked Image]](http://pics.montypics.com/phohmann/2007-03-11/1173636424_crozet__low_rez_.jpg)

If your sway bar quick disconnects are from Rock Stomper, I would not bother to try to fix them. I broke mine three times just driving, and had them professionally rewelded together twice. After the third break, I just scrapped the entire sway bar. Drives just fine now.
I am not saying that Rock Stomper makes cheap stuff, I think that the angles for the links are just too much.

Matt already made me a replacement (no cost). Carnage happens. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> The product is very high quality and I recommend it highly.
