Body Damage is Cool
I was able to position mine so that it did not touch anything. It was close though.

The aftermarket one did not use any of the stock mountng locations, it had a mounting kit which gives you the ability to adjust each end a bit and rotate away from things.

I took mine off 8 years ago and haven't missed it. Makes changing the oil filter less of a pain.

If you have loose/worn steering or suspension components, they should be fixed or replaced as needed. Replacing toasted ball joints and tightening the steering box made my steering and handling 400% better. The idler arms are also known to cause issues when worn. Steering stabilizers are bandaid fixes for other issues. JMHO

I agree with strawmyers you dont need a stabilizer on IFS My trooper never even had one and it didn't seem any different than the rodeo,

Now on my 95.5 with the sas one steering stabilizer doesnt even do the job

34.5 inch tires and see no need for stabilizer. Just make sure all the joints are ok...ie. ball joints, tie-rod ends, etc.
